hi tony

and on the issue of moving those files once renamed.

just highlight them all
use control and c to copy
then paste where you want them to go.

i say copy rather than cut because if something goes wrong you always have the
originals before the move attempt.

good luck

  Subject: [vip_students] Renaming Audio Files

  Morning all,

I downloaded a zip file with oh about a half dozen MP3s therein so want to
rename those MP3s as the names of them are not what I want them to be for sure.

I then want to move them to the general my documents folder wwith TC written
before each file for ease of find or to a folder therein.

Now the question is can I rename those files?

I read somewhere that renaming in certain instances can deem the file
corrupt.

Any responses of value greatly appreciated.

  Best,

  Tony Sweeney
