Hi Paul,
If you just go into outlook express it should prompt you to make it the
default. Just tab to the yes button and it will now be your default.
Otherwise you can do the following;
1. Go into control panel.(start menu, settings)
2. Now press letter "I" for internet options and press enter key.
3. Do a control + tab till you come to the programs tab.
4. Here tab over to where it says default email program and up or
down arrow here till you find outlook express.
5. Press the tab key till you come to the ok button and press the
enter key.
Now ou should be good to go.

express. When I got my last computer it was set up wrongly.
