Hi Noreen and all

firstly let me wish all on the list a happy new year

I was very nervous about how i was going to be able to independently use my t V
without the assistance of others until I read a message about T Vonics written
by Aidan

I contacted aidan to get more info about the box and personally i feel it was
the best days work i did in 2012.

Noreen contact r N I B about the box it is a little expensive but you can tune
in the box into more than 1 t V. for instance if you had your box in the
kitchen it is simple job to move it from the kitchen to the sitting room just
simply by unplugging it from the power supply and removing the aerial cable
from the back of the T V, and away you go. it is approx 8 inches by 6 wide and
probably weighing the same weight as a large novel, less than 4 pounds you can
carry it in one hand easily

i find the box totally accessable for my needs and remember I am a techno freak
in the sense that I can hardly turn on my computer

My neighbour without qualification tuned in my box in less than 10 minutes and
told me it was easier to tune than his own box. He also gave me a
demonstration on how to tune it into any t V which improves my independence
that i can gune in my box into any T V in the House. You only have to tune the
box into your t V once and then it is merely a matter of plugging the aerial
cable into the back of your T V and plug in your box into the electric plug.

Noreen I am running a 10year portable T V in the bedroom with the assistance of
the TVonics box, and the reception is just as good as the new T v we got last
year

it has only 1 remote with total voiceassistance Audio descript that can be
turned on or off as you wish the number of stations you may be able to get
varies from area to area in my particular area i get up to 140 stations
depending on the athmosphere but usually never less than 60 or 70 stations at
any given time more than enough viewing for anyone The box also has numerous
radio stations on it

The TVonics box also has 170 hours of recording in it's own hard drive, and you
can record on 2 channels at any one time, when you are recording 2 channels you
must be viewing one of them you cannot view a third channel.

If you purchast through the Rnib you get a 30 day trial with it + a 12 Month
Guarantee. You can download the manual from the R N i B website and read it
at your leisure Thanks to my old friend Loretta who discovered this for me and
I studied the lay-out of the remote until I knew what every button was for,
and away i went

I found the box a little bit Expensive but really worth the Money and am
delighted withit.

i Cannot tell anyone what they cost at the moment because the week after i
ppurchased the box for 180 pounds + vat I noticed that it was on special offer
on the R N I B website for 30 pounds less

although a little bit expensive really worth it if you do not have to buy a t V

This is the opinion of a technology dunce but maybe Aidan could give the lista
better report on the technological aspects of the box

Hope this helps
Ricky Walsh
