Hi flor,

Now just one more question from me and hopefully I'm done!

Is the IOS iPlayer radio app free or if not is there much of a charge?

Tony Sweeney.

Whether you're an ex-patriate missing out on BBC 5 live's Test Match Special, or you just miss waking up to Nick Grimshaw on the airwaves, it turns out you could be in luck.

The BBC has announced it will make_all of its radio services_<http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/stations>available to listeners outside the UK via the iPlayer Radio app.

Ireland will be the first country to take advantage of the rollout, with the broadcaster stating this is the initial stage in a global expansion.

James Montgomery, Digital Development Director, BBC News and Current Affairs, said: "We hope that the app will be a destination on mobile home screens for audiences around the world who want to explore the breadth of BBC radio, from news and current affairs to drama, comedy and music.

"This launch also comes at a time when the UK is at the centre of a huge news story which the BBC is helping to explain to audiences worldwide."

It doesn't appear as if the Beeb is planning any globalisation for its iPlayer video streaming app just yet. One medium at a time, though, we'll get there.
