[Creating A System Repair Disc] Sometimes you may find that your Windows 7 computer fails to boot up. Its always handy to have a Windows 7 System Disc to hand and here's how to create one. 1. Type system repair disc into the search box in the Start menu. Notes: The dialog box opens up, here you have three items you can move too using the "Tab key"; *. Create Disk, Alt + R. *. Cancel Button. *. Drive List, Alt + D. 2. select the right drive using the arrow keys, that is the drive letter of the CD drive that you will be writing the files onto during the burning of your system disc. This drive is normally pre-selected by default if you only have one "CD/DVD burner" installed. A blank CD will be fine as it only takes up 142MB of space. 3. Now tab around to "Create disk" button or press keys, "Alt + R" to begin creating first a boot image of your Windows System disk. 4. Windows will then take over and first look on your hard drive for necessary files it requires. If it cannot find these files on your hard drive then it will ask you to insert your windows 7 installation disc which (you will need) in order to complete successfully this process. 5. Insert the Windows 7 installation disc and tab to the "Continue button" then press the spacebar to begin Windows creating an image file which it will later burn to your blank CD. 6. Once you press spacebar on the OK button Windows will chew on the installation disk for a few moments taking any necessary files it requires and use them to prepare the image for burning to CD. Once it has completed it will then ask you for the blank CD. 7. Place your blank CD into the CD/DVD drive and press the OK button to have your new system disc created. 8. When it finishes it will give you an OK button to press the spacebar on and you're done. -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. SPAMfighter has removed 1035 of my spam emails to date.
