While my default Voice is "Daniel, British English", I noticed that after
updating to iOS 9.3, and when composing a text or e-mail and press "Space" and
when I choose a number symbol, the voice reverts back to "Irish English", just
for these two options I've outlined, and then continues reading with "Daniel"
again and this is for some WebPages of text that supports a graphic too or is
reading through text. I've changed it to "British English" in "Accessibility &
Speech" & "Voices", but then after updating to iOS 9.3 1 , the same thing
happened again, it changed back to "Irish English" again after I changed it
over to "British English" in "Voices in Speech". It doesn't seem to hold these
changes for some reason.
When selecting a Contact in "Table Index" in "Contacts" if I select "B" it
takes me to all the names in "A".
After I send an e-mail, VoiceOver takes a few seconds to speak again, and the
screen hangs for a few seconds before I can continue again.
I'm still not happy though with the fact that there are so many frequent iOS
updates, that none of them will include,"NIGHT SHIFT" for the 4S in any of
these updates?
Can "MOIRA, IRISH ENGLISH" voice be improved for pronouncing what's on screen,
like, all the other VoiceOver Voices do so well?
These that I've outlined never happened after updating to iOS 9. This is when
the problems for me only occurred.
I'd like these problems I'm encountering to be addressed to the team who
develop the iOS updates and to be incorporated into an update.
Regards.
Dominique.
