Paul,

It was possible, in earlier versions of windows, for the user to create a system restore Point, in the types of restoration, group of radio buttons. (Once the radiobutton is checked you could then add text to describe your created restore point.) has this ability/facility been lost in windows 7 and up? I hope not.

Hi Eleanor,

Normally at various points throughout the day Windows 7 will make automatic restore points so I would say that you already have a restore point but it won't be descriptive in that you won't know using jaws or sighted help if this restore point is the one you want and also after a while Windows 7 deletes restore points so that your hard drive doesn't fill up so you'd have
to make a new one every so often.

Paul.

I have made adjustments to my laptop running Windows 7 64-bit and want to make a restore point today as I am pleased with the laptop at present after the alterations yesterday and this morning. How do I do this or does the
computer do it automatically?
