Hi Susan,

Okay so just use "Alt + F4" to close the window. C-Cleaner doesn't tell you that it has finished in a manner that you will notice straight off. What I do to find out if C-Cleaner has finished is to turn on the jaws; "say all mode, using keys, insert + letter S". When you use this key combination jaws will say "all" and then just hit the spacebar on the cleaner button.

There are only two tab pages in C-Cleaner that I can detect and this is how I accessed them;

1. Route jaws to PC, "keys insert + minus key".

2. Press numpad key 9 to go to the top of the screen.

3. Use key numpad 7 to go to the home or top left side of the screen.

4. Use keys control + numpad 6 to move along the top of the C-Cleaner screen. You will eventually come to two tab pages, "windows and applications".

5. When you reach either of these tabs, just do a left mouse click on whichever one you want. The left mouse click is the "second key in from the numlock key and is generally called the slash key".

This action will then place you within the particular tab page you clicked on. Now just use the normal tab key to jump from control to control.

Paul.

hi paul

did you also find that control tab, didn't take you to the other pages?

I followed your instructions but with no luck.

Hi Susan,

You are correct, I noticed that also. What I had to do was to first;

1. route jaws to PC using keys, "insert + minus key" on the number pad.

2. Press the numpad key "3" to go to the bottom of the screen.

4. Now using keys, "control + numpad 4" you can reverse back up the screen
till you come to something that says "ok or close".

5. When on either of those items, use the jaws left mouse key which is,
"/slash key" which is just to the right of the numlock key. By pressing this
key once will finish or close the program.

I will attempt to draw up a small script to see if it will help fix this
shortfall in the program.

Paul.

Hi Susan,

Just ran this C-clean program. It looks very nice and seems very usuable.
I
have just tried it out and it is pretty simple to use. There is a list of
parts of the windows system that it can clean out old unused files. Most
of
these locations are already checked by default. Just go ahead and tab key
to the run button and press spacebar. Now press the spacebar on the ok
button which just wants to make sure you know what youa re doing. Now the
tool will run and clean out all those old files which looks good to me.

Paul.
