Hello All,

Sometimes the software for my wireless network card falls over which
causes JAWS to clam up. But if I press Ctrl+Alt+N, NVDA starts up and
works just fine. I press Alt+Tab a few times until the offending
application has focus and I press Alt+F4 to close it. Then I get the
usual warning message about losing any unsaved data.

Here's where it gets tricky because when I press Ins+NumPadMinus,
NVDA focuses on the wrong button so I have to press Ins+NumPad4 to
shift the focus to the button on the left (labeled something like
Close without Saving Data). Took me a while to figure that one out.
Then I have to press Ins+NumPadEnter to activate the button and all
hell breaks loose!

Okay, not really. I usually hear the system error sound a few times
and then JAWS and NVDA both start talking at once. Ins+Q and Enter
soon sorts that out. Hope someone out there might find this useful
and it just goes to show that sometimes one screen reader isn't
enough,

bfn,
John
