Hi Vincent,

I don't think it's a matter of cutting and pasting. I would imagine that you
need to use the correct import measures. Go into the file menu and down to
Import. In here look for import address book. I can't give you much more
than this as I don't use that email client.

hello Paul and others
 
i am trying to get my contacts working in windows live mail. i have my
contacts backed up on my external hd from windows mail. i have done a copy
and paste from the hard drive  to my contacts folder on my windows 7 laptop
and all the contacts are showing up. but when i go in to send a new mail and
try to select a contact they are not showing upit is showing up with only
vip_students address there because it saved its self  after replying.  does
anyone have an answer for this  what am i doing wrong now. many thanks in
advance.
