Hi Tony,
Speaking as one who subscribes to a few talking newspapers (The Irish Times
being one of the bundle): -
You can get as many (electronic) newspapers & magazines as you like, for £40
pper annum. Yes, they still do the irish Times. However, it is an edited or
‘library’ version, and I feel that it alone doesn’t justify a Talking
Newspapers subscription., considering the amount of information that is already
fairly cheaply or freely available through the Irish Times Digests and the
Irish Times apps. (The RNIB now run what was TNAUK.)

Hi Flor, and to Joe for raising the subject.
Thanks for your input here.
We don't know the reason for that person leaving of course but it it definitely
very sad that a great service such as EasyLinks has to suffer.
I do subscribe to the free papers you mention and the Irishh Times too but
would like in time to be able to subscribe to the Irish Times paid in the
future.
Do you know how I can do that?
We had a little discussion of that a while back but things may have changed
now.
Is Talking Newspapers still doing that paper and if so is it worth subscribing
to there in your opinion?
Best,
Tony Sweeney.

Hi Joe,
The Guardian Headlines, with links to the featured stories on its site, is
available in a daily email,. (You can sign up at www.theguardian.com – it’s the
usual registration process, and checkboxes to be checked or unchecked –
depending on your requirements. You’ve a choice of editions, paid or free; UK,
US; Australia, etc. (It’s also available in the iOS App Store.)
The Irish Examiner is also available from its own Web site; and there is a
newly-launched afternoon daily digest email (containing links to featured news
and stories.) It’s available in a text-only format or in .html.
www.irishexaminer.ie >; www.irishexaminer.com >. The Iurish Examiner is
likewise available from the iOS App Store; (although on the iPhone initially it
may be best to go to it via Safari). I, too, read both papers.
It’s a pity easylinks.eu has been taken down.
