Christina,

I find that if I look for a word that I expect is in the edit box I can get
NVDA to enter it and then it speaks everything in the usual way. I have not
been able to get into them with tab or the arrow keys. Search for something
obvious like "the" or "and" until you land in the edit box.

All the best,

Subject: [vip_students] hidden textboxes in NVDA?

Hi all,

really hope someone can help me.

I'm proofreading a document using latest version of NVDA and Word 2013; on the
righthand side of the page, there are some textboxes with information in them,
but I can't get NVDA to read them. Is there a way to do this?
thanks,

Christina
