No worries, any other help I can give just ask. I'm not an expert but Alexa and
I have become very close lol
my new girl Rhum nose is a tad out of joint in the early days of the dot
arriving in the house.

The echo and echo dot both have the same function. The echo would have a
better speaker its also 3 times the price as the dot. I have the dot and have
connected a speaker to it although the sound quality is fine in the dot and i
have never had any issue with the dot picking up what i said.
I will be looking forward in asking her to put on electrical stuff, i think
there is so much potential for this product.

Hi Jackie &
Joe,
Following this with interest having been asked by my friend whose husband has
progressive MS & now loosing power in his hands. Hoping to get more info on
the Amazon Echo or Dot, what is the difference between the two & how this
might compensate i.e. voice activation accessing music etc. Like you Joe
music is his thing & up to recently was excellent on guitar. He now can no
longer turn on or off, up or down the remote which is very frustrating. Hope
this all makes sense & any info welcome.
Best regards,

I'm still getting used to my echo dot. but when wanting her to change the
channels on the telly, put your kettle on before you get out of bed, put the
hall light on and check if you've locked the front door. you'll need
bluetooth or wireless devices and something called hubs. once my visa card
gets over its shock of a bill in a few weeks i plan to invest in a few plugs
and start messing with that.

so, now friends, i have this amazon dot up and running, playing nice music

it tuned in to my mobile, it gets my music from spotify, so how do i get it
to change the channels on my tv? there are four buttons, i think the button
with the dot on it is the turn on and off button, i’m having fun, where will
it all end, any help will be really appreciated, god bless, travel safely,
