Dear Apple,
I would like to provide the following findings and feedback to you after
updating to 9 3 3 last night.
My default voice is "IRISH ENGLISH" but if I change it and compose a text
and choose an emoji, and just put one finger on the emoji's without double
tapping to open the list, it reverts back to the "IRISH ENGLISH" voice
again, and this is after changing the voice in "SPEAK SELECTION" and double
tapping on that to VOICES" and selecting the same one that I previously
selected in "General, VOICEOVER & SPEECH".
When I forward an e-mail to another recipient, my 4S hangs for a few seconds
and VoiceOver is unresponsive. I understand and appreciate that my handset
may not be able to cope with all the demands that's required of it now, and
therefore it's sluggish,, compared to the newer versions with higher
capacity etc.
I would also like to see a Siri "IRISH ENGLISH" voice being introduced in
future iOS versions? Perhaps with 10?, as it may understand the Irish
Speaking community better than the current counterparts do at present.
When I choose "IRISH ENGLISH" and enhance it's quality, it's not as clear,
but it pronounces everything correctly, but if I go and change to another
voice again, and then go back to Moira, it pronounces things differently,
and some things are pronounced incorrectly, but it's clearer.
I would like to be able to make my suggestions felt and heard to the
engineers that resolve the bug fixes in iOS versions, and rectify them in
future editions, but all I'm provided with from you is a Website Address to
contact them through, which is totally inaccessible with Jaws screen-reader.
So could you please forward my findings on to them? And hopefully they will
be noted and addressed in future updates?
