Why don't you try out the fb-exchange list?
We set this up some years ago just so that we, as newly blind people, could
explore the technology and learn from each other how to use it with nothing
to pay! When the iPhone came along, we were all new to it and through
discussion and sharing with one another we have learned a great deal. To
bring people together in person, we have weekly sessions in cork and Dublin.
As you have heard, there are also groups in Kildare and Galway. Not
everyone can get to these meetings, so we set up the discussion list on
Freelists.org to make it easier for everyone to keep in touch.
To join fb-exchange you just need to go on to the home page at:
https://www.freelists.org/list/fb-exchange
and put in your email address then tab to the "subscribe " checkbox and then
click on "Go" to send that off! You can send your first email immediately
you get a confirmation email which takes about one or two minutes. and then
you are up and running.
It would be great to have you along on board along with all the others who
have shown interest in your great idea.
Why not give it a try and see what kind of responses you get?
You will find information on the same page about setting up your own list if
that is what you prefer. As Flor says, it is a bit awkward but once you have
it set up, the list runs itself. If you want a hand with it just let me know
and I will be happy to help you out.

Thats great there is an interest. would just need some help in setting it

I'm wondering how difficult is it to manage an email group.
Was just thinking on Susans post to create an email list for beginners or
and iPads.There is plenty of us on here who are quite proficient in using iPhones
