I’m selling my Intel reader which I bought in 2011. Intel reader text to voice
book scanning machine. It’s in perfect like new condition and has only scanned
one book since I bought it. I bought it when I was still studying and now find
that I have no more use for it. I paid £1950 for it which worked out at nearly
€2500 at the time. This is a very easy to use book scanning/reading machine
which can be used in your hand or on the intel capture station which it comes
with as well there is also two power supplies and a handy protective carry
case. This can be used for completely blind people or has a large screen for
those who are visually impaired. The Intel Reader comes with a 2GB memory,
which allows for around 500,000 pages of raw text or 600 photographs. Photos
can be taken from around 50cms away and will read a 10pt font from this
distance. The whole thing is powered by Intel's Atom processor. And can be used
portable in the classroom or on the fold away capture station.
This is an excellent buy for someone who loves reading or is still studying. I
am only looking for less than half what I paid for it €950 anyone who might be
