[vip_students] internet not working

hello folks
after doing an upgrade to windows 11 i have had all sorts of problems. first
windows live mail is not accessible so i uninstalled the whole lot. now my
internet is not working properly. when i open ie it comes on to the home page i
can arrow down once and then it freezes up and does no more. i did hear once
or twice something like silverlite and something that sounds like Spanish . can
anyone advise please.
