Just past voice over practice you will find the buttons for speech rate. You can delete apps without being connected to the computer. Just hold your finger on the app you wish to delete until you hear delete, then select deleteor cancel from the right or left of the schrene. Voiceover needs a few fixes at the moment and I am guessing they will be sorted in the next few days. Hope this helps. Elaine.
