hi eleanor,sorry eleanor but is not that which is wrong with the phone it just will not talk other than when i hit the talks key first. i can't get the vodafone screen or in to my contacts or the menus. i can't turn it off niether. i have to take out the battery put back in again when it comes on it says vodafone you know the usual but after that nothing.
any other ideas?i need my phone as it has alot of info on it that i would use on a day to day basis.

I think you need to hit Talks and the number 1 on your keypad. You want key echo words or words and letters or whatever you want.
