I set mine on headings. this does not effect changing voiceover. then if i need 
to adjust speed or spelling ie letters or words, i do the finger movements.

  Go to accessibility, overover and scroll down until you hear rotor, hit that 
and you can un tick items or just turn it off completely.  Good luck.
