yes. Go into that submenu and enter on 7zip. Look at its menu bar by arrowing around it.

when i go to the start menu, then hit p for programs the first thing it lands on is7-zip sub menu, could this be what i'm looking for?

It's as easy as having a cuppa, susan.

You may need an unzip programme such as Winzip but someone can tell you this.

The zipped files are in my documents which has a number of files (five in this one I think) so I hit on whichever one I want and then you'll get a message to open or cancel so hit on open and you're listening hopefully.

thanks to you I have managed to successfully use the Microsoft office document scanner, I find it scans a document much better than k1000, I followed the instructions on the podcast on office o c r, by talking computers.

I am now able to scan my bank statements and print them out,
