Sessions ?Reflexive Governance? & ?Sustainable Transition of
Infrastructures?
- Apologies for cross posting -
Dear Colleagues,
we invite you to consider the attached calls for two sessions on the
governance of transformation in industrial production and consumption
patterns. The sessions will be held at the IHDP open science meeting (9.-13.
October 2005 in Bonn, Germany). Abstracts for papers can be submitted until

March, 10th

through the conference homepage at <http://openmeeting.homelinux.org/>.
Please indicate the session to which you would like to submit your paper.

A conceptually oriented session (?Reflexive Governance?) discusses the
possibilities to take take account of uncertain knowledge, ambivalent goals
and distributed control capacities in shaping socio-technical
transformation. A problem specific session focuses infrastructure systems
(?Sustainable Transition of Infrastructures?) and asks for particular
conditions of radical innovation and management of system transitions. For a
more detailed description of the two sessions please refer to the
attachment.

With kind regards

René Kemp (Merit, Maastricht University)
Jochen Markard (Centre for Innovation Research in the Utility Sector, CIRUS)
