Thank you Tim for pointing me in that direction, I felt a bit like a like a lost duck walking around in circles not knowing the bread was in the water. Thanks for pointing out the KSPROPERTY struct.
For the issue of the WaveRT driver I was told by Tim & others to make a gfx-apo filter for vista/win7 in another thread in osronline.com I was wondering what would be the effect of such a rt driver would have on the filter, always good to know :-).
For Tim:There are probably better ways to do what you need. What is your real requirement?
