Thanks Tim, I kind of figured you'd chip in and say that :)
I mean, the rationale for this not to be allowed is fair, but the business
opportunities allowing this (restricted by only allowing
WHQL signed APOs f.i.) are huge.
And Frank did say "I ask because it's good for us (MS) to be aware of how
people are trying to add value to the Windows audio system
so we can consider it in future changes."
So I'd rather hear it from the "horses mouth" ;)
