Argh, I just realized I sent that last reply to the whole list. Sorry!
Incidentally, I got curious, and it looks like the large majority of the
iPods use variations on the "extra connector on the ground pin" trick.
Which a) should have been totally obvious to me, and b) also seems to
cause a lot of problems. :)
