USBAudio.sys only does USB Audio 1.0. USB Audio 2.0 is supported, but uses
USBAudio2.sys.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [wdmaudiodev] New 48kHz (buffer over / under run) issue &
USBAudio.sys on 05/11/2022
Using Windows 10 Pro v. 21H2 build 19043.1766 with given latest update as
USBAudio.sys on 05/11/2022.
I use an USB Audio Class device on UAC2 mode. The device uses asynchronous
transfer mode (i.e. sends periodical feedback to Windows host).
The USB device indicates buffer over / under run and error states as on board
LED's as implemented on this HW.
Now since the last update using PLAY & WASAPI Exclusive & 48k/96k/192kHz / 32
bit, buffer over / under-runs happens as it gets.
It seem to have much more variance than before, which means, that much larger
buffers are required at device side!
I can manually adjust the master clock as 256 x 48kHz (12.288MHz +/- xxx Hz)
using a wave generator, so to detect where the best center frequency is to get
less over / under runs. But do not help.
The glue, using 44.1kHz based sample rates I do not get this over / under runs!
Now since this last USBAudio.sys any known changes happened:
a) what really changed
b) what was the cause
c) any conclusions on this for asynchronous mode?
Best Regards
