Users don't care; they just want things systems to work.
Of course yes. :) If the system, together with all
drivers/applications, work flawlessly, both users and developers are
quite satisfied. But if the system, using a hidden, undocumented and
non-obvious measures, manages a well-built driver or application to
work incorrectly, there should be an opportunity to fix the problem
with no dirty hacks, shouldn't it?
