And what if the test has a big red X on it but the log says 0 Fail, and it then
passes on next run?

Den man. 10. jun. 2019 kl. 20.14 skrev Matthew van Eerde
<dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>>:
The test failure indicates that there’s a bug in your driver, or in the OS, or
in the HLK.

If the test failures intermittently, that indicates that there’s an
intermittent bug in your driver, or in the OS, or in the HLK.

If the bug is in the OS or the HLK, Microsoft should fix it, or at least errata
it.

If the bug is in your driver, you should fix it.

So I still recommend debugging the issue even if you can get the test to pass
eventually by rerunning it a lot.

Just run failed DF tests until they pass or you get a log with an error you
actually use.

My last run had 3 failed DF tests. Ran them again and they passed.
HLK is still quite full of bugs in my opinion.

would I go about debugging this?

This particular failure is because the test took longer than it was supposed
to. Right-click “Run Test” and choose “Error” from the submenu:

OK, here is another one for Matthew…

Nearly all of the “DF” tests are failing on the HLK tests, but when I look at
the log files it says the test passed so there is nothing for me to fix. This
seems to be a bug in the HLK that is pretty basic.  I have applied the latest
filters.  The other clue here is the test says it will take 5 minutes and it
takes several hours.  I’m 4 days into running the full suite of tests and still
have not gotten through them all.  Something is fundamentally wrong but it
isn’t obvious what it might be.

Thank you,

David A. Hoatson
