The reason why you get the same level for both is because you change the volume which will apply for the both channels. If you change the pan, you will see the difference.

does anyone know about volumelevel support in a WDM
mixerdriver?
I added KSPROPERTY_VOLUMELEVEL in my driver, but
channels 0 and 1 canot be controlled independed from each other. They have
allways the same level. Why?
What values should the basicsuporthandler return
