It was bug in my property handler that I have already found.

Hi,

MS will send down the volume levels for channel 0 and
channel 1 only. channel 0 indicates all the left side
channels, (front left, surround left and etc). and
channel 1 indicates all the right side channels.

The reason why you get the same level for both is
because you change the volume which will apply for the
both channels. If you change the pan, you will see the
difference.

Hello,
does anyone know about volumelevel support in a WDM
mixerdriver?
I added KSPROPERTY_VOLUMELEVEL in my driver, but
channels 0 and 1 canot be controlled independed from each other. They have
allways the same level. Why?
What values should the basicsuporthandler return
thanks,
Uwe
