[wdmaudiodev] Multichannel (channels > 24) problems

Hello once again!
We have developped a WavePCI driver for a multichannel
sound card with a maximum number of 64 channels (64 IN, 64
OUT).
With DirectKS applications like Sonar everything works
perfectly.
With DirectSound applications however (e.g. Windows Media
Player or some private multichannel applications) some
channels get muted.
Dumping the mappings in the driver confirmed to me that
often some channels above the 24th channel are muted (only
a few, randomly, but very often the 25 and 26th channel).
For instance I use multichannel formats with
wBitsPerSample = 16.
Who observed similar problems or who knows about
limitations ? (KMixer ?)
