opportunity to let you know, that Im not only asking on this list, even if
Matthew is finally the only one replying to my questions at the end
So I ve opened a ticket at Microsoft Support about the HLK certification
process in September,
Then I get in contact with Yuankai Fan, Stone Chen, Tianwei Yang, Sai
Krishna Alapaka from Microsoft Support
who are expected to find out why the HLK Certification process does not work
with the SYSVAD audio driver example : especially the following test:
Audio Codec Class Driver Audio Logo Test Certification - Desktop
Audio Codec Audio Logo Test Glitch
But I got no reply for the moment.
Ive also contacted Girish Pattabiraman & Adonais Romero Gonzalez who are
developing the SYSVAD official audio driver example for Microsoft
Ive asked them if they test the SYSVAD with current HLK test in their
development cycle?
They reply: We do not run HLK as part of our development cycle.
Ive asked why
no reply.

I also put the simple question to Matthew van Eerde & Pete Brown:
Why the official audio driver example for Win10 is not certifiable by the
HLK
and how Microsoft expects to see audio board manufactures provide
certifiable driver in this condition ?
And I got no reply too
So if you know a more efficient channel than this mailinglist to get a
response from Microsoft or
simply to get in touch with Microsoft guy having experience in SYSVAD HLK
certification , please le me know !

Of course it is. What is the statistical likelihood that any other Candy
Crush user has ever enumerated the audio sessions when that app is running,
or cares one whit that there are two entries in the audio mixer? It doesn't
affect usability in any way
When I put a question regarding audio driver here, I get no reply
, I remind
you that Im still waiting replies regarding the HLK certification process
that no-one at Microsoft tested with the SYSVAD

to these subjects?
I think you tend to lose track of the fact that this forum is NOT in any way
an official Microsoft support portal. This is a volunteer peer-support
group, which happens to have some extremely valuable participation by
members of the Microsoft audio team. No one is obligated in any way to
respond to any of your questions. If you want official answers, you need to
go through the Microsoft support process and pay to open a ticket.
