> Do you have a 32-bit/64-bit issue? You have to use a 64-bit setup app on a 64-bit system, and of course you need a separate driver binary. > We’re running a 64 bit installer on 64 bit machines, and 32 on 32 and that’s all been working fine. It’s a frustrating problem as of course we can’t recreate the problem on any of our test machines or the beta machines, and its installed correctly so far on many thousand’s of user machines. Its probably just a fraction of percent of machines its failing on but unfortunately with 1000’s of installs that still a lot of unhappy users. We’re going to try to get a user that is having the failure to work directly with us to try to chase it down. I’m wondering if it could be some .dll compatibility issue in our installer program, but our installer only loads what appears to be to be pretty standard .dll’s, its loading: kernel32.dll shell32.dll shlwapi.dll advapi32.dll ole32.dll Has anyone ever seen dll version problems with any of these dlls? We’re not redistributing any of these, we’re just using what is on the target machine. Paul T.
