Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Where to report issues with the Windows 10 UAC2 audio
driver?

Hi all,

I am investigating compatibility of our USB Audio Class 2 devices with the
latest Windows 10 UAC2 driver v10.0.15063.502.

With most of our devices I see very weird behavior of the driver on the USB:
there is an endless sequence of the following requests

* Set Samplerate
* Set Alternate Setting 1 (enable audio streaming)
* Set Alternate Setting 0 (disable audio streaming)

What is the best way to report this issue to the Microsoft driver developer(s)?

Additionally, the driver does bundle all channels of a device into only one
WASAPI device. Therefore, a user cannot select e.g. the headphone output as his
standard audio device. Is there some documentation available on how the UAC2
driver derives the WASAPI architecture from the devices USB descriptor?

It seems that there is still very little documentation for this new UAC2 driver
on MSDN, every hint is very welcome!

Best Regards,

Franz
