WPRUI always crashes

The fix for the WPRUI crash should be in the 1511 version of the Windows
Performance Tools suite.

You can get this by installing the 1511 version of:
* the ADK (
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/dn913721.aspx#adkwin10 )
* or the SDK ( https://dev.windows.com/en-us/downloads/windows-10-sdk )
* or by installing Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 (
https://dev.windows.com/en-us/downloads ), which includes the SDK.

Can you try it and confirm whether the crash is fixed? Windows Performance
Recorder | About should show "Microsoft Windows Performance Recorder
10.0.10586.15" (the crashy version is 10.0.10240.)

OK, we think we have a fix for the WPRUI crash; it seems to be specific to
Server SKUs.

As a workaround, wpr.exe can be used to gather traces. I updated
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/matthew_van_eerde/archive/2015/08/11/taking-audio-glitch-traces-on-windows-10-desktop-edition.aspx
with the relevant command lines.

wpr.exe -start GeneralProfile -start Audio -start
enhanced-audio-glitches.wprp!MediaProfile -filemode

wpr.exe -stop my-wpr-glitches.etl

Hello Matthew,

Can you take audio glitch traces

Unfortunately, as I try to load the enhanced scenario, WPRUI always crashes. I
have attached four event descriptions. Could create a dump file if needed.

Regards,
Eugene
