Come on, the problem is there since the beginning.

Microsoft should know it.

It ‘s simple, I got more problem with WIN10 in 2 years, than with other
Windows XP or Seven in 15 years.

To run my WIN10-PC stable, it is not connected on internet, but I will go on
feedback hub soon ok!

Regards

Vincent Burel

Vincent, it doesn’t help to deal in generalities like “Windows 10 updates
are always unstable” - if you run into a problem with an update, please let
us know by filing a problem report in the Feedback Hub.

Matthew,

Do you mean you know the real reason why WIN10 updates are always unstable ?

The fact that Microsoft is forcing to go on WIN10… does not help:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4012982/the-processor-is-not-suppor

“Unsupported hardware” is very new (and never seen) in Microsoft world …

Don’t know where Microsoft goes, but it makes me think to the WIN98 period
(without the 2000 hope)!

So, Happy new year 1998!

Vincent, your guess is incorrect.

Robert, can you elaborate on “don’t work anymore”? Can you file a problem
report via Feedback Hub and send me a link?

Every WIN10 update causes new trouble in audio system, from anniversary to
creator!
I guess Microsoft does that on purpose, and it's clever done! :-)
But what is the goal ?

Objet : [wdmaudiodev] Win10 update messed up USB devices

Hi all,

Win10 updated tonight to 10.0.16299 Build 16299, and now some of my USB
audio devices don't work anymore (with latest Win10 drivers). Frustrating as
hell. I know it's not the perfect forum, but has anyone ideas what has
changed lately in Win10 USB/audio stack ?

Regards
/Robert
