Hi, Bert. I'm glad you asked. I forgot to mention three other very good resources. OSR, one of the top NT driver development seminar providers, has a web site, OSR Online (http://www.osronline.com/), that is a great resource for driver developers. They don't specifically target audio, but their site is a very good reference for (in their words) "Everything Windows Driver Development". Be sure to read Hector's Memos. OSR also hosts the NTDEV mailing list. Again, it isn't audio-specific, but it is a very good resource. You can subscribe from the "ListServer / Forum" link on the left navigation bar at OSR Online. The signal to noise ratio is usually pretty good, unless there's a "C vs. C++ for drivers" rant going on. ;-) You can also subscribe to OSR's semi-usually-several-times-yearly newsletter, "The NT Insider" (link on left navigation bar at OSR Online). Highly recommended. Disclaimer: Although it probably sounds otherwise, I am not affiliated with OSR. However, I do have a couple of their T-shirts, and one of our former employees took one of their driver seminars... I guess that makes me a "satisfied customer". If you ever get into ASIO driver development, there's an ASIO mailing list, too. Unfortunately, it seems to be pretty much "user supported" at this point. Steinberg doesn't seem to have much of a presence there anymore. You can subscribe from http://www.steinberg.de/Steinberg/Developers8b99.html (click "mailing list" link under "ASIO SDK Download"). -Dan -- Dan Germann Digital Audio Labs -----Original Message----- Date: Sun, 05 Feb 2006 17:08:19 +0100 From: Bert Schiettecatte <bert@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: driver training course for audio? Do you know of any other forums or discussion groups I could join to learn more, besides this one?
