The WDK for Beta 2 should also have some good info. I think you need to be
a beta tester or MSDN subscriber to get it, though.
I didn't find any info on the MSDN / Vista sites. If you want [ASP].NET or
SQL Server info, no problem, but audio...? I did get a good laugh, though,
when I stumbled across an on-demand webcast on how to succeed as an
introvert. No kidding
(http://www.microsoft.com/events/webcasts/ondemand.mspx, near end of first
page). I found it especially funny since today's "Windows Hardware
Newsletter" email linked to the "geek test".
You might also try the Windows SDK for Beta 2 of Windows Vista. I haven't
looked at it myself, but hopefully the app-side docs are in there:

I have heard that there are major changes coming to the design of the
audio subsystem of Windows. Could anyone point me to any information or
mailing lists that would help me learn more about this subject? I have
been having a hard time trying to find information on this subject.
