Have you tried to open the on-board audio (using the XP driver) to see if it can open in stereo mode? I specifically remember seeing audio meters on one of my drivers for left channel and right channel and they were different. And for another set of devices that I wrote drivers, no problem of this nature was reported to me. But, I have to admit, you are making me worry a bit. Of course I tried those devices with an older build of Vista...not the latest. Oh, do you have a USB Audio device you can try with the USB audio driver? -----Original Message----- From: wdmaudiodev-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdmaudiodev-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Who Cares Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 9:13 AM To: wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Re: stereo audio input Sure I checked all these things - everything seems to be ok >From: "Sam Tertzakian" <sam@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: <wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Re: stereo audio input >Date: Wed, 22 Mar 2006 14:12:15 -0800 > >Oh, then there must be a problem with the driver.
