Despite all the hype WDM has always had some compatibility glitches on 9x
but there are some workarounds.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your confirmation on this.  Since I already have a bus
driver, this will be an easy solution to implement.  I just wished that I
posted here sooner so that I would not have been pulling out my hair for so
long, arg.  Thanks for your reply.

I just working on WDM driver but system refuses to load my driver in
response to _ever link_ RtlWriteRegistryValue and alike funcs!!!
So - How driver can read&write registry??!!
Do anyone know how to access registry from kernel-mode WDM driver
AT ALL!!??

Hello waldemar,
I've just surprised that system _do agree_ to load your driver with
such funcs as RtlQueryRegistryValues or ZwSetValueKey and alike.
My problem is that system DO NOT EVER START ENTRY POINT of my driver
when I ever link such a funcs! As I can see in debugger it opens
binary of my driver, reads some piece - and refuse to load as it see
that Rtl... or Zw... funcs calls present!!! May be there is no system
DLL with such funcs?
