fohm: Friends of Heaton Manor
Friends of Heaton Manor (FOHM) was started in 2010 by a group of parents and carers
Our aim: - to harness the support and energy of parents, grandparents and carers so that we can contribute to the school to support both students and staff
The school is involved in a huge range of projects and FOHM have been able to give away funds to a wide variety of activities across the school: - from supporting the Chess club to helping fund the D Day anniversary, from supporting Buddy Up to two new computer notebooks for students with special educational needs
We raise funds by organising events salsa nights, quiz nights, a ceilidh and the very popular summer fair.
We also hold regular meetings with members of the senior leadership team where we can talk through what is happening in the school.
We use the list to let people know what's going on and discuss issues related to the group
