Hi Yves,
There is a problem using JAWS and Audacity with the latest edition of Windows
10. Freedom Scientific is aware of the problem and they indicate that they are
working to resolve it. Until then, you will need to use the NVDA screen reader
with Audacity to prevent the crashing.

Subject: [audacity4blind] AUDACITY CRASHING
Hello all, I have installed latest version of Audacity on a laptop using
Windows 10, and Jaws 17. When I run the program, as soon as I open a wave or
MP3 file the program crashes, the only choice I have is to close Audacity. I
uninstalled and re-installed with same results.
I have used Audacity on another machine under Windows 7 with no problems. Any
hints as to how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
