Here's a Nyquist implementation of the LADSPA "DJEQ" (attached).
It will work on mono or stereo tracks.
Each control has the same range  as the LADSPA version (-70dB to 6dB).
Installation instructions  are here:
Widows:
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_windows.html#nyquist_install
MacOS:
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_mac_os_x.html#nyquist_install
Linux:
https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_linux.html#nyquist_install

Personally I much prefer Audacity's "Bass and Treble" effect, but if you
like the LADSPA DJEQ, this plug-in produces an almost identical effect.

The LADSPA plug-ins on plugin.org are for Linux.
There are packages of Steve Harris plug-ins for Windows and Mac here:
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html
but I believe that these require 32-bit Audacity.

It would probably be possible to write a Nyquist implementation of the DJ
EQ to work on all platforms, but we would need to find out exactly what
that effect does.

Memory is a remarkable thing, Steve Harris tolled a bell in my head
"wasn't there a guy who made a lot of ladspa plug-ins?".
Here's the website, I guess you can find your way from there:

Hi guys!  I just did the Audacity update and of course I’ve had to redo
some
of my plugins.  There’s one I use for a considerable number of things
and
I’d like to get it back but I can’t find it.  It was created by a
gentleman
named Steve Harris I think.  It’s called DJ EQ.  He also did a DJ EQ
Mono.
Had both of them and used them frequently.   Can’t find where to
download
them.  Thanks in advance for your help.
