Hi all,Only with the script.
I use both jaws & NVDA & wonder if anyone knows if NVDA can do the
following.
I use the Jaws script for audacity so I guess it is why I can do this.
Using jaws if I press left or right bracket it places the start & end
markers & then I press the alt + left or right bracket & it speaks the
marker positions.
Also using alt + DEL key reads the current position.
Does anyone know if NVDA has these shortcuts available?
Thanks
Adrian
Jaws seems to have a bit more accessability than NVDA.
I did an addon but it is a nightmare to maintain with all the version
changes in NVDA and Audacity.
I personally use Nyquist plug-ins with prerecorded voice output (thx
to Robbie Sandberg).
For start, end and length I would press Alt+J, K, and L respectively.
Of course, they can be set to work with other combos.
They won't work during playback or recording.
However, it is a little prize to pay if you think that they work on
Mac, Linux and PC, regardless of the screen reader in use.
