Hi All,
Well I've been playing with Labels for cutting up recordings. A short time
ago a couple of you said that I was making things harder on myself going
through the clip boundries-split new method covered by Jim G.
After doing both I'm not finding one any easier than the other, if anything
I find Labels a bit more complex. First the X, then Alt S+I followed by ALT
S+C after playing through the selection then Control B To create and name
the label followed by Right Arrow To start all over again.
In the other method simply pause and mark the point of the split, hit the
command for Split New and unselect the previous track and move on to the
end. The tracks can quickly be named with the context menu. Am I missing
something or are there quicker shortcuts for using labels? Thanks.
