Rich, here are several questions to consider.  Did you install the 64 or 35 bit 
version of 3.04?  If the 64 bit version, best to uninstall the old Audacity 
first.  How did you install the plug-ins originally?  Without knowing the 
specifics of the plug-ins, I suggest you repeat the process.  But if you are 
now using the 64 bit version of Audacity, the plug-ins may not be compatible.
As has been discussed here at some length recently, Audacity 64 bit looks for 
plug-in .dll files (and other extensions) in C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-Ins.
Does that clarify or further confuse?  If the latter, give us more details and 
the brains trust will go to work.

I just installed Audacity 3.0.4.  There are few plugins from my 2.3 
installation that I want to copy into this 3.0.4 version.  How do I do this so 
that the matching libraries also get copied?
