Hello,
I think I need some conceptual help here.
I have a simple recording that words one, two, three, four.
On another file, I have a beep sound.
I want to past the beep sound right before the word three but can not do
that.
Here is what I do:
In the beep file, ctr + a and ctrl + c.
In the wording file
ctrl + a to place markers at beginning and end of the file
home to go to beginning of selection.
space bar to play the file. I listen one, two and ....
I tried to stop the recording with space bar and type ctrl + v but the
beep sound usually goes to the beginning of the file.
I tried to stop the recording by pressing p and then past but it also
does not work.
I tried to place beginning and end markers right after stopping the
recording and then typing ctrl v
Nothing seemed to work. I was able to make it work once but have no idea
about what I did.
For me it appears that pausing the recording kind of does not place the
play / recording head where the pause ocured and the play / recording
head is somehwere else on the file so I guess my question is how can I
operate right where I paused the recording when pasting audio.
Thanks,
Marlon
