[audacity4blind] Re: Recorded Files are Suddenly Silent

I don't think this is an issue limited to visually impaired users.  I
think it is an issue that should be addressed as a general one of what a
program should do automatically when it is installed.  It is just plain
bad design for a program to change user settings that there is no reason
to change.  If the user is using Sound Mapper, no recording program should
change that setting.  The program developers don't know what source the
user wants to use and should not ever automatically change such settings
on installation.
