[audacity4blind] Script to improove reading of time position and other values

Hello everyone.
Does anybody know if there are any jaws scripts or NVDA add ons to improve the
reading of cursor's position, or other values?
For instance: the only way i apparently have to be able to read sound levels,
is to go to effects, amplify and calculate how much my level is near 0 db.
