I'll try this and let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Hi Diane!

You can zoom in and out using ctl-1 and ctrl-3. This has the effect of
decreasing or increasing the amount of audio selected by pressing
shift-cursor-left or right. Press c to preview the cut or space bar to hear
the selected audio. If you want to add or take off very small amounts press
ctrl-1 a couple of times and use the select or unselect key strokes. If the
intervals are still too large reverse your action and press ctrl-1 again to
zoom in even further. Then try again.

Cheers, Robbie

Hi Everyone,

I am wondering about how to make really fine edits with Audacity. Is there
an accessible way to move the cursor by a fraction of a second and hear the
results? I have been playing with Reaper, which is a paid editing program
and it has a scrub feature which allows you to hear the audio as you move
the arrow keys. Does Audacity have a similar feature? All help appreciated.
Thanks.

Diane
