Hi
make sure you select the track before editing. You can press jaws key - tab to
check if a track is selected. By the way, have you got the audasity gide writen
by David Bailes?

Hi
To reduce the silence between track, you can select and cut the parts you want.
Folow these steps

Select the track you want to reduce silence by pressing Enter on it. You should
hear: track name select on.
Play the audio until the place you want to mark the selection start
Shift+A to stop playing, and move cursor to that position.
Play until the place you want to end the selection
Press P to pause
Press right bracket to mark the end selection
Press spacebar to stop the audio
Now you can press C to hear the preview. Audacity will play afew second before
and after the selection. When you are satisfy with the selection, press the
delete key to remove it.
Otherwise, you can do that using the truncate silence effec t in the Effect
menu. I don't remember the parameters in this, so I can't help you now.
Cuong.

Hello

I've does pree-recorded program for radio station I broadcast there. I
improrted tracks, copy and paste them into one project, and between them I
talked, after two tracks usually.

My question is, how can I decrease the spaces between the tracks, after one
tracks for example, there is 60 second silence, and it's not professional….
